Accounting Duties
- Bookkeeping and general accounting
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
- Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records
- Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets and software
- Posting financial transactions in databases
- Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database
· Managing accounts receivables
- Create invoices and send to clients
- Collecting, receiving and recording cash, checks and credit card payments
- Communicating with customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
- Answering any billing questions from customers
- Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders
Suppliers (Payables Duties)
- Some cross training with Accounts Payables to assist during absences
Other Responsibilities
- Assisting with business call volume
- Filing
- Assisting with general cleaning and organization
- Attend weekly Meetings
- Participate in some offsite promotional events throughout the year. These will be outside of normal business hours.
