Job Description

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our growing data team. This individual will be responsible for transforming complex marketing, CRM, and digital advertising data into analytics-ready formats.

About the Role - Analytics Engineer

This role is hands-on— ideal for someone who can create and manage pipelines, notebooks and dataflows for ingestion and transformation. This person will work very closely with the marketing intelligence team to build the data pipelines and supporting objects for all the reports in the marketing platform. This role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Fabric & Power BI technical ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize Fabric Lakehouse tables in Bronze → Silver → Gold layers.
• Create and manage Fabric pipelines, notebooks, and dataflows for ingestion and transformation.
• Implement Delta Lake best practices across Databricks & Fabric Lakehouses.
• Partner with Data Engineering to define data contracts, schemas, and governance rules.
• Develop scalable Power BI semantic models over OneLake / Warehouse.
• Build clean, reusable DAX measures, calculation groups, and subject-area models.
• Optimize dataset performance (incremental refresh, aggregations, partitions).
• Ensure all Fabric datasets meet governance, privacy, and row-level security requirements.
• Transform complex marketing, CRM, and digital advertising data (Experian, CDK/RO, SparkPost, Basis, Meta, campaign enrollments, budgets, etc.) into analytics-ready formats.
• Produce Gold-layer business logic for KPIs, dashboards, & reports.
• Validate pipelines coming from Databricks and ensure consistent business rules across systems.
• Ensure Fabric/Warehouse tables stay aligned with Databricks Unity Catalog.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable reporting platform in an Azure environment
• Python
• SQL
• DAX

Preferred:

• Microsoft Fabric or Power BI Certifications a huge plus
• Automotive experience
• Experience in marketing tech, ad tech, or personalization systems – automotive a big plus
• Deep working knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Azure Databricks

Work Location: In person at our office in Farmington Hills, MI
