Overview Armed Security Guard at Alutiiq, LLC. This position will work nights from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $30.15 per hour base, with $5.25 per hour for H&W and a night shift differential of $1.00 per hour (11 PM to 7 AM). Covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Responsibilities Contracted to provide "Life Safety" response (Active Shooter). Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches. Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations and suspicious activities; take appropriate action. Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence. Perform crowd control as required. Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks; provide First Aid and CPR as required. Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures. Staff posts continuously and provide access control. Control access to restricted areas; report violations. Direct and provide information to visitors. May operate x-ray machines, magnetometers, hand-held wands and screen packages. Safeguard assets and provide assistance as required. Escort persons and equipment as needed. Conduct foot/vehicle patrols as required. Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance. Conduct other assignments in accordance with established SOPs. Required Qualifications and Experience Due to government contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship status is required. Must possess/obtain an active Florida State D & G license; must be able to carry a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Must pass a background investigation. Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance, and be considered for a TS/SCI clearance.
