Assistant Property Manager

Location: Onsite - NE Portland, OR Duration: 1-2 month contract Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $22-$24 per hour DOE

About the Role

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager for a short-term assignment supporting property operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for providing excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day property management operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Process applications, verify eligibility, and maintain compliance with property policies.
  • Support rent collection and prepare related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and onsite staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in property management or a related field required.
  • Experience with affordable housing programs strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
