We are looking for a skilled Chemical Plant Operator who is experienced in overseeing the daily operations of chemical operations and ensuring all related production processes run reliably and efficiently. This is a 2nd shift position.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor reactors, control systems, and other equipment involved in the production process.
• Adjust equipment and process variables to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations.
• Records process parameters, operational data, and incidents for compliance and process optimization, and communicates updates to the team and management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production goals and issues.
• Train and mentor junior operators and support staff, promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Assist in the development of operational procedures and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Chemical Plant Operator or similar role.
• Attention to detail, proficiency with control panels and computerized systems, understanding of chemical reactions, and knowledge of standard operating procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a shift system, including nights and weekends, if required.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
