About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead its multidisciplinary arts institution into a new era of cultural and creative engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a newly adopted five-year strategic plan, cultivating partnerships, and expanding philanthropic support. This role involves overseeing a large and diverse team, including a senior management group, full-time and part-time professionals, and a significant number of volunteers. Key objectives for the initial period include building strong relationships with staff, donors, and civic partners, as well as strengthening revenue and fundraising pipelines. The ideal leader will be a seasoned and visionary individual, capable of championing the arts and humanities at local, regional, and national levels, and will be instrumental in positioning the organization for long-term growth and success. Applicants for the President and CEO position at the company should be prepared to take on a transformative leadership role within a financially sound and nationally respected institution. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in the arts and culture sector, who can navigate the challenges and opportunities of a hybrid governance model.
