Job Description

The Corporate Legal team is UMB’s Corporate Legal support function and serves many lines of business throughout our footprint by providing legal education, counsel, and advice.  They facilitate the needs of their clients (UMB Financial Corporation and, its subsidiaries) through subject matter expertise, as well as relationships with outside counsel, where necessary.

As the Corporate Legal Intern , you will learn about the different UMB line of businesses, conduct legal research, and writing, and gain a greater understanding of financial services laws and regulations. You will also learn how to provide legal advice to clients and become a trusted advisor

How You Will Spend Your Time

• Conducting legal research into a variety of issues facing a traditional business as well as a financial institution
• Working with clients and fellow legal team members to provide advice and creative solutions to problems

Compensation Range

$25,640.00 - $49,440.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
