Job Summary
Miller Electric is seeking an Entry level Electrical Construction helper with 0-2 years of hands?on experience in the electrical trade. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety?conscious, and eager to continue building technical skills under the supervision of journeyman electricians.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the repair, maintenance, installation, and modernization of electrical systems for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Pull wire, bend conduit, and install devices, panels, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
- Support team members by providing accurate measurements, cutting materials, and preparing equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Perform manual labor such as:
- Manual excavation
- Bending pipe
- Pulling wire
- Lifting 50 pounds
- Working with hands overhead
- Using heavy equipment
- Using power tools
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in electrical construction.
- Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Capacity to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods).
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience working on commercial projects.
