About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team at Mustard Seed Early Learning Academy in Gwynn Oak, MD. As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early education experience.
Qualified candidate Must have 90 hours + ADA, 9 hour Communication or AA/Bachelor's in ECE(early childhood Edu)
Responsibilities: - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a Large Family childcare home
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Assist lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily activities
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, naptime and outdoor activities
- Help with meal and snack times, including feeding and clean-up
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
- Assist with diaper changing and potty training
- Support classroom management and behavior guidance
Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving, nannying or childcare required
- High School graduate or higher
- CPR & First Aid Training
- 45 hour infant/Toddler training
- Medication Administration training
- 90 HOURS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary clearances
- Takes initiates and has drive
