Overview

Labor & Employment Litigation Associate at Baker & McKenzie LLP. This role is part of the firms domestic Labor & Employment Litigation practice in California. The position involves handling a diverse range of employment matters, including litigation of multi-jurisdictional class and collective actions and high-stakes, complex disputes. For candidates working in our California offices, the annual salary range is between $235,000 and $390,000.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse range of employment matters, including litigation in state and federal court.
• Engage in multi-jurisdictional class and collective actions and high-stakes, complex disputes.
• Collaborate with a global team to support international and domestic employment issues for multinational clients.
• Prepare and argue matters, including counsel and client communications, and contribute to cross-border employment projects.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of employment litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials; e.g., Law Review.
• Major top-tier law firm experience in employment litigation preferred.
• Federal judicial clerkship is a plus.
• Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members.
