Job Description

Well established Trade Show/Events company company in Boston and Vegas has a great growth opportunity for a mid-level versatile Graphic Designer/Illustrator who help to illustrate / storytell the design goals, audience needs, and brand alignments in trade shows, corporate events, and branded environments. 

You will work closely remotely with design leadership and clients to ensure that the creative needs are met. The ideal individual will have some experience working in a fast-paced agency environment on a variety of mediums: pitches/storyboards, print, environmental/large scale graphics, marketing collateral and much more. Someone who appreciates and thrives on the design process from start to finish within a collaborative environment.

Graphic Designer / Illustration Responsibilities:

• Focus on expanding and/building off of creative concepts and direction in illustrations/designs for branded environments pitches, sketches, mood boards, and visual storytelling decks 
• Attend and contribute to discovery sessions with customers and internal teams to define design goals, audience needs, and brand alignment 
• Liaison between creative, production, and clients helping to provide design options and revisions with accuracy and efficiency 
• Collaborate with the remote creative team to prepare and present pitches, sketches, mood boards using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and PowerPoint 
• Create and refine client-facing mockups, visualizations, and final graphic designs for approval 
• Prepare and release production-ready artwork for the 3D/fabrication 
• Participate in creative brainstorms, raising the bar with the rest of the team
• Continuously seek ways to improve creativity, quality, and efficiency 

This is not a senior position. This is a remote (US ONLY) long-term contract to perm opportunity with a fun collaborative creative team. This is conceptual illustration/design role although there are many creative/mechanical aspects involved.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience, preferably within an agency or creative studio environment
• 3+ years of illustration/visual storytelling experience within an agency or creative studio environment
• Advanced experience with typography, and color theory. Strong illustration ability across styles
• Must be able to present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat; Illustrator predominant program
• Some experience creating in Figma a plus 
• Must be a team player who is fast, accurate and organized
• Contribute to concept development for top clients via sketching, visual research, and graphic design
• Excellent communication skills; must have strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills
• Excellent project management skills; must be able to self-manage and be organized/detail-oriented
• Ability to think strategically and translate creative requests into high-quality content
