Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU RN for night shifts requiring ICU and stroke experience, with a MO or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Neuro ICU setting at a hospital
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:30
• Typical patient ratio is 1:2
• Care for neuro ICU patients requiring strong neuro and stroke experience
• Every other weekend and 50% of holidays on contract required
• Floating required to ICU, Med Surg, and potentially as Patient Observer throughout the hospital
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Provide comprehensive neuro critical care, including management of stroke patients
• Must be willing to float to various hospital units as needed, including Patient Observer (sitter) roles
• Complete required hospital modules during orientation and annually
• Return travelers within 18 months are not required to attend re-orientation
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a reduced rate

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro ICU experience required
• ICU and stroke experience required
• Minimum 2 years of total RN experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred; may be completed onsite
• Must provide two professional references from a charge nurse or higher
