Role The Order Fulfillment Specialist I is a member of the Supply Chain team and is responsible for picking, packaging and shipping of biological products. Success is measured by adherence to department SOPs, keen attention to detail, high picking accuracy, and effective teamwork. Responsibilities 30% Accurately pick international and domestic orders 30% Accurately package staged product in accordance with specific shipping requirements 30% Accurately scan and label packages in the shipping terminal and stage for carrier pickup Perform other duties as assigned; participate in cross-functional tasks and specialty projects Maintain conformance with all relevant Quality Management System (QMS) policies 10% Maneuver pallets of coolers using an electric pallet jack Qualifications High School diploma or high school equivalent 1 year of previous work experience in a warehouse environment Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Gmail or similar email applications Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work evenings and weekends when business necessitates (advanced notice provided) Ideally, you have Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software Oracle E-Business Suite Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to troubleshoot routine packaging/shipping problems Ability to work independently and maintain situational awareness Results-driven and proactive attitude Physical Conditions/Requirements Lifting/moving items weighing up to 50 pounds Standing for extended periods and walking within the facility Reaching, handling, and manipulating items; bending, stooping, and overhead retrieval Frequent repetitive tasks such as picking, packing, filling and sorting Operation of heavy pallets with pallet jacks What we offer We provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating working environment with health insurance and pay benefits.
