Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in enterprise-scale data migration projects, particularly involving Snowflake, Databricks, or similar modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will have proven track record of managing end-to-end data migration initiatives, including legacy modernization, cloud adoption, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage enterprise data migration projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, engineers, business analysts, and domain SMEs.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, ensuring timely resolution.
Oversee migration of data from legacy systems to cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Drive agile or hybrid project methodologies tailored to client and organizational needs.
Support change management and user adoption strategies post-migration.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in data migration projects.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud architecture.
Domain expertise in BFSI, Retail, or Healthcare with knowledge of industry-specific data challenges.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
