What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Data Analyst, Software Asset Management

Location: Newtown Square, PA (Hybrid, 3 days working from office)

Expected start date: January 202

Time Commitment: 40 hours/week (Full-time Internship)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze and interpret Software Asset Management (SAM) data to identify trends, usage patterns, and compliance issues
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards on SAM data
  • Develop and automate reporting processes to streamline data analysis

AI and Automation

  • Develop and integrate AI-driven solutions
  • Implement machine learning models to predict software usage, detect anomalies, and optimize license allocation
  • Automate SAM processes using scripts, tools, and AI technologies

Collaboration and Documentation

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver information, resources, and best practices
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to SAM

  • Educational requirements

    • Undergrad or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Approval to work full-time (40 hours a week)
    • Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
  • Position requirements

    • Be onsite at Newtown Square office for at least three days a week
  • Desired skills/experience to be successful in this role

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in SQL, Python, JAVA, JavaScript or NodeJS
    • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and AI concepts
    • A team player, with a self-starter attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction
    • Ability to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data, whilst showing a creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving
    • Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile (nice to have)
    • Any Knowledge/experience in SAP Finance and software asset management (nice to have)
  • Qualifications for the role

    • Experience in SW development using Git, GitHub in an agile team (nice to have)
    • Experience in developing FIORI Apps or SAC (nice to have)

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
