Salary Range: $150K - $190K plus benefits

Knowledge Requirements:

• Experience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts 

• Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and pipeline development, including experience building scalable, automated data flows from structured and unstructured sources 

• Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives 

• Strong understanding of data modeling principles, including relational, NoSQL, and semi-structured formats (e.g., JSON, XML) 

• Experience with semantic or metadata-rich data structures, including working with or adapting models based on standards like W3C PROV, Dublin Core, or QUDT 

• Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, PySpark, Pandas) and scripting languages such as Python or Scala 

• Familiarity with data integration and analytics platforms used for relationship-rich or mission-aligned datasets 

• Ability to work with classified and unclassified data sets, with experience documenting data lineage, pedigree, and source classification 

• Experience preparing data for AI/ML workflows, including:  Data preprocessing and normalization, f eature extraction and transformation, and b uilding reusable, ML-ready datasets from raw inputs 

• Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries across multiple data sources 

• Electronic Warfare (EW) Domain Familiarity:  Understanding of EW systems, workflows, and data structures and e xperience supporting or integrating with IMOM, Builder EW, or other DoD analytical tools 

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or Computer Linguistics 

Years of Industry Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance with TS SCI Eligibility

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $150,000-$190,000 based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. Still not convinced?Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented  Senior Data Scientist Engineer . This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to Electronic Warfare Ontology Engineering domain, focusing on the development and application of semantic models and knowledge graphs to integrate and standardize EW data in support of AI/ML, data fusion, and mission analysis. It combines EW domain expertise, ontology development, and machine learning integration to enable advanced analytics and decision support across DoD systems. 

What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in Data Science such as; 

• Experience developing ontologies using Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) and the Common Core Ontologies (CCO) or similar tool 

• Experience using the ontology editor Protégé or similar tool

• Familiarity with the Web Ontology Language (OWL) and the SPARQL query language or similar tool 

• Experience using GraphDB or similar knowledge graph tool 

• Experience developing Python scripts

• Experience with databases

• Experience using knowledge graphs

Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance.
