Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

\n\n

Job Details:

\n

• Work in Special Procedures & Interventional Radiology unit with 3 rooms, 1 patient per room
\n• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
\n• On-call requirements: 1-2 weekday shifts and 1 weekend per 4-week period
\n• Day shift: 1 Charge RN, Director, 3 staff members per room, 12 total per shift
\n• Night shift: On-call team with 2 per call team, 4 total
\n• Must have BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications
\n• Must be competent in Special Procedures & GE Innova equipment
\n• Must have recent acute facility IR/Specials experience
\n• RCIS certification preferred for techs
\n• Work with all GE rooms and use Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
\n• Perform typical procedures including cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing
\n• Must be a team player, critical thinker with patient care focus in fast-paced environment
\n• Must be flexible and adapt to unit needs with frequent on-call responsibilities
\n• Dress code requirement: Navy blue, white, or combination of both colors only

This is a 229-bed healthcare facility that has been recognized as a top performing hospital since 1983 with Joint Commission accreditation. The organization is designated as a certified primary stroke center and holds Blue Distinction recognition for maternity care services and senior-friendly designation. The facility operates a close-knit Special Procedures and Interventional Radiology team of 12 staff members consisting of RNs and technologists, emphasizing quality patient care and teamwork.
