\n\nHomecare RN Job Details\n\n

\n\t
• Location: Niagara Falls, NY – Enjoy the natural wonders and lively culture of this iconic New York city, with access to parks, restaurants, and attractions.

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
\n\t
• Duration: 13-week contract
\n\t
• Schedule: Day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
\n\t
• Hours per Week: 40
\n\t
• On-Call: One weekend per month
\n\t
• Territory: Niagara County, with travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
\n\t
• Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS standard rate (from patient home to patient home)
\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n

\n\t
• At least 1 year of recent Adult Home Health or Hospice RN experience
\n\t
• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license (must have license in hand)
\n\t
• Current CPR/BLS certification
\n\t
• Proficiency with OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR (recent use or willingness to retrain)
\n\t
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
\n\t
• Ability to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center in Niagara County
\n\t
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage
\n\t
• Strong organizational and clinical documentation skills (documentation due within 24 hours of patient visit)
\n

\n\nHome Health RN Responsibilities\n\n

\n\t
• Coordinate and deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes per physician orders and agency policies
\n\t
• Conduct home visits, attend periodic office meetings, and travel within the assigned Niagara County territory
\n\t
• Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses
\n\t
• Manage a daily caseload of 5–10 patients, meeting productivity expectations (30 points/week)
\n\t
• Perform Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, and other home health nursing services
\n\t
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in HomeCare HomeBase EMR system
\n\t
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required for home health coverage
\n\t
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements for New York healthcare jobs
