Job Description

Seize the opportunity to advance as a Traveling Physical Therapy Assistant in Missouri and beyond, bringing compassionate care, clinical skill, and a patient-first mindset to diverse settings. As a PTA on the move, you will partner with seasoned therapists to guide recovery, improve mobility, and restore independence for people across communities. Your work will create tangible, lasting impact—from helping a new patient regain confidence after an injury to supporting a senior client in maintaining daily activities. This is more than a job; it's a chance to shape healing journeys while exploring vibrant places, milestone memories, and the beauty of Missouri's landscapes. Think of St. Louis arch reflections, summer festivals, the Ozarks' scenery, and the calm of the Missouri River as you plan your next chapter.

Location Benefits: Saint Louis, Missouri offers a dynamic blend of urban energy and neighborhood charm, paired with world-class museums, parks, and riverfront experiences. You’ll gain exposure to a range of patient populations in hospital, outpatient, rehabilitation, and community-based settings, with the flexibility to travel to other locations across the United States if you choose. The role provides the benefit of experiencing seasonal changes, regional cuisines, and unique local events that make every assignment feel like new discovery, while still allowing you to be close enough to home when you want a longer break or plan a visit. Missouri’s natural beauty — from the Ozark hills to Lake of the Ozarks and forested trails — invites you to unwind after shifts, recharge on weekends, and return to your patients refreshed and energized.

Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Traveling PTA in this program, you will perform essential duties under the supervision of a licensed PT, support plan-of-care implementation, and help patients regain mobility and function. Responsibilities include evaluating patient progress, implementing therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercise, gait training, Manual therapy modalities as appropriate, and applying assistive devices or orthotics as prescribed. You will document progress, communicate with the care team, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. The position offers a clear path for professional growth within the physical therapy specialty, including opportunities to rotate through orthopedic rehab, neuromuscular rehab, and geriatric programs as available. You’ll have access to mentorship, continuing education options, and potential for additional responsibilities as you demonstrate clinical proficiency and leadership in patient care.

This role comes with competitive benefits designed to support you and your loved ones. You may be eligible for a sign-on or performance bonus, comprehensive housing assistance to simplify relocation or temporary stays, and extension opportunities that allow you to lengthen successful assignments or explore new locations as your goals evolve. You’ll enjoy robust, 24/7 support from our travel coordination team, a dedicated clinical liaison, and on-call assistance to help you navigate scheduling, housing, credentialing, and any travel hiccups that arise. Weekly pay ranges from $1,182 to $1,243, with no guaranteed hours, and flexibility to accept assignments that fit your life and career plan.

Company Values: Our company is committed to empowering every staff member to grow professionally while fostering a supportive, inclusive work culture. We value continuous learning, collaborative teamwork, and open communication, and we invest in career advancement pathways that help you expand clinical skills, leadership capabilities, and scope of practice. Whether you’re just starting your PTA career or bringing years of experience, you’ll find a community that celebrates your contributions, respects work-life balance, and supports you in achieving your long-term goals.

Call to Action: If you’re ready to elevate your PTA career, embrace new communities, and deliver high-quality patient care on your terms, apply now. This is your chance to join a company that respects your expertise, rewards your dedication, and helps you grow both personally and professionally. Start your journey on 03/09/2026 and discover how far mobility, compassion, and teamwork can take you.

Note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
