Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of acute hospital experience and ARRT certification for a Level 2 trauma setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in an acute care hospital radiology department covering both inpatient and clinic settings
  • Level 2 trauma center with a wide variety of imaging studies including trauma, referrals, portables, and OR procedures
  • Must cover X-ray scans for both hospital and attached clinic with access to 14 scanning rooms
  • Night shift position with 7 days on and 7 days off, 10-hour shifts from either 8:30 PM-6:30 AM or 9:00 PM-7:00 AM starting Wednesdays
  • Weekend and holiday shifts are included in the 7 on/7 off rotation
  • Overnight shifts always have 2 staff on duty
  • Required to float between inpatient and clinic areas as needed
  • Cerner EMR and Siemens PACS are used, with department-specific FUJI equipment for rooms and portables
  • Main duties include general diagnostic imaging, trauma X-rays, portable radiography, and OR support cases
  • Opportunities to support surgeries and trauma care as part of a rotating night team
  • Night shift staff may wear OR scrubs and may be called into OR cases
  • Department orientation ranges from 1-2 shifts depending on assignment
  • First-time travelers are welcome
  • Must clock in and out at the facility each shift
  • Local pay rate applies to candidates living within 80 miles of the facility
  • Former permanent staff must have a separation of at least 6 months before consideration

  • Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Current or eligible Wisconsin state Radiology license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year recent hospital-based Radiology Technologist experience required
  • Must have C-arm experience and be able to function independently in the operating room
  • Experience must be in an acute care hospital setting, not clinic only
  • Familiarity with Cerner charting and Siemens PACS preferred
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor and one peer or supervisor
