How you can help : Volunteer drivers deliver much more than a nutritious meal - they bring a smile and kind words, relieve isolation, and provide peace of mind for meal recipients and their care givers.
Qualifications : Volunteer one hour over your lunch time during the weekdays on a schedule that works for you. You must have your own transportation and license.
Details : Volunteers drive to the program site, pick up meals stored in easy-to-carry thermal packs, and deliver them to residences using a route designed by the program. Delivery coordinators at Bloomington-Eden Prairie Meals on Wheels will provide all the necessary resources to get you started.
