The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Chemical Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is in North Chicago, IL 60064. Details for the position are as follows:
Position Title: Chemical Operator II
Work Shift: 3rd Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $33/hour
Job Description
We are seeking a Chemical Operator II to support wastewater treatment operations in a 24/7 production environment. This is not a laboratory role —the setting is like that of a brewery. Candidates will work on a shift team , with everyone assigned their own station and responsibilities daily.
Production activities may involve working in clean room environments, operating sophisticated equipment, and performing inspections of parts and product. Operators will be expected to set up and monitor equipment, maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP standards, and follow both written and oral instructions under moderate supervision.
