Qualifications

Purpose & Scope:  

The Manager of Laboratory Outreach will oversee the VHC Health Lab outreach program, managing relationships with both VHC Physician Group and non-VHC Lab clients. This role will focus on growing the outreach program, ensuring that the program operates efficiently, and that all outreach sites comply with regulatory requirements. The Manager will also ensure the outreach teams are adequately staffed and trained to meet operational needs and will perform phlebotomy as required. This role reports to the Administrative Director of Pathology.

Education:  

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Laboratory Science, Healthcare Management, etc.) is required.

Experience:  

• Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and regulatory compliance.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a healthcare or lab setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.

Certification/Licensure:  

Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred.

Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of certification.
