Scanning Operator

Responsible for the routine operation of scanning and check-capturing equipment, performing essential maintenance to ensure quality and minimize downtime. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage long periods of sitting. Additionally, the role may require occasional assistance with mail sorting, which includes standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Operate scanning equipment for document imaging and check capture, including Keyed Functional Input (KFI) as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on scanning and check transport equipment to minimize errors and operational delays.
• Escalating any service issues to the appropriate service contact and/or workflow coordinator/supervisor when required.
• Assist in mail sorting and organization tasks when needed, with the ability to stand for at least an hour at a time.
• Ensure compliance with clean desk policies at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of working experience within the Lockbox department
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining work quality.
• Previous experience with document or check scanning equipment is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer operating knowledge (touch screen, mouse, reboot, etc.)
• Ability to accurately troubleshoot areas of machine

Working Environment:

• Fast-paced production environment
• Exposure to moderate noise levels
• The work area is cooled in accordance with the operating specifications of the machinery
• Performing duties involves constant motion, including a lifting requirement of 10 lbs.
• Involves standing for long periods of time (majority of workday)
• Requires knowledge of possible electrical hazards & machine safety)

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $29,640 - $37,050.
