Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active IL RN license, with on-call and weekend rotation requirements.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an Interventional Radiology department within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Assignment is 13 weeks with day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• On-call rotation is assigned weekly Monday to Friday from 12:00am to 8:00am, and 24-hour on-call for weekends and holidays
• Occasional weekend day shift required from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with every other weekend or two weekends per month scheduled
• Mandatory float to Radiology and Pain departments as well as other hospital units as needed, including to other facilities within 50 miles
• Uses Cerner EMR; prior Cerner experience preferred
• Staff required to wear lead protection
• Responsibilities include providing nursing care in interventional radiology and pain management settings
• Must be able to float to any unit or facility as required, with short notice possible
• Strict adherence to compliance requirements, including timely completion of lab work
• Navy blue scrubs required; not provided by facility
• No block scheduling allowed and no special scheduling requests accepted
• RTO limited to 5 days with no more than 2 consecutive days; no RTO permitted on or around holidays or weekends

• Active IL RN license (no pending licensure accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Must live within 75 miles of the facility
• COVID vaccination required
